1.When Katniss from The Hunger Games was fighting for her life in a forest but still had even foundation, flawless undereyes, mascara, and no chapped lips.
Lionsgate Films
2.When Sandra Bullock’s character Malorie wore eye makeup throughout Bird Box even though she was wearing a blindfold.
3.When Mulan wiped a full face of makeup clean off with just her sleeve.
4.When K.C. from K.C. Undercover went undercover as a boy, took off her wig, and suddenly had glam makeup.
5.When Rose from Titanic wore bold makeup that a woman of her station wouldn’t have worn in that time period.
Paramount Pictures
Any time in a historical movie where makeup may have existed, but it doesn’t really seem realistic for said character to be wearing it. Like perfect lipstick, mascara, brows.
7.When Aurora from Sleeping Beauty woke up with a perfect full face of makeup.
8.When Elsa and Anna went to bed in full makeup in Frozen 2.
Disney
I’m sorry, magical ice powers do not give you purple eyeshadow, eyeliner, and bold lipstick. And there’s NO way she would have perfect skin if she was sleeping in a full face of makeup every night.
9.When Jody from Center Stage made quick changes involving all new hair, makeup, and costumes in just a few seconds.
Columbia Pictures
Ignoring the fact that Jody’s costume changes would have been near impossible in a performance, her immediate makeup changes were just ridiculous. Still love the movie though.
10.When Daniel wore heavy film prosthetics and makeup in Mrs. Doubtfire, and no one noticed.
20th Century Fox
The heaviness and thickness of the makeup that would be required for Daniel to be disguised as Mrs. Doubtfire would be detectable by anyone standing near him. No one would look at this person and think, “This sweet old lady wears a lot of makeup.” People would be immediately suspicious, know the makeup is fake, and be alarmed that something creepy is going on.
