Video shows ‘Sidewalk Susan’ spraying down crying child’s chalk art

A video of a white woman spraying down a child’s sidewalk chalk art because she doesn’t want to “look down at this mess” has gone viral, earning her the moniker of “Sidewalk Susan.”

“From the creators of barbecue Becky and parking lot Patty, we bring you Sidewalk Susan,” one user wrote, quote-tweeting the video and referencing Sidewalk Susan’s predecessors.

Twitter user, @hibzsta___, who uploaded the video said they don’t understand why someone would get upset over a child drawing on the driveway with chalk. “White women dead ass love bothering people out of boredom,” they wrote.

In the video, the woman uses what appears to be a pressure washer and says, “We don’t want to have to look down at this mess.”

A woman, who is believed to be the child’s mom, is heard defending her crying daughter and telling the woman that if she doesn’t want to see the “mess” she can just look away.

“We live here,” Sidewalk Susan says back while continuing to erase the artwork.

The Twitter-verse is standing strongly against the latest Susan.

Ironically, some real-life Susans have been showing off the street art in their neighborhoods in appreciation.
